Anti Trafficking - Where and how to get involved

Part of the hope for this ministry is to give people access to organizations and people who are already doing the work in case you want to get involved in any way. There are many ways to get involved in justice work but the four main categories I will focus on is giving, praying, political (awareness) and relational. I can vouch for some of these organizations but not all. My hope in sharing them is for you to explore the work that is being done and how the Lord might be prompting you to engage.
Political or awareness organizations:
None of these organizations are only one thing, and many of them have a relational side to their work but a lot of these organizations focus on media, marches, and other presentations to raise awareness about human trafficking.

Relational
These ministries are often the ones that either help rescue the girls or create safe spaces for girls who have been rescued, or both. Some of the organizations above engage in the relational form of anti trafficking as well.

Giving
You can give donations to organizations. Isaiah 43 ministries and most of the organizations above often run off of donations and it is a wonderful blessing. We need people to give. However, another way to support financially is to buy products that support anti trafficking efforts around the world. Many of the organizations below either support anti trafficking work through their business or sell things made by survivors.

Prayer
There are many places that offer guidance on specific prayers for the end of human trafficking, you can google it, but I would argue that prayer is the most important part of the battle. We are unable to fight this darkness on our own and we need the Lord to fight it for us. Without His movement and His covering, we are lost. I would ask that we all pray in some way for the end of trafficking, for the beauty and dignity of human beings to be restored, and for those working on the ground to be protected in this dangerous world.
